This piece was painted during the August En Plein Air Event 2024: Oot N Aboot In Kirrie. My son and I spent the weekend painting together - and what a treat it was to paint outdoors as mother and son! We felt that the 'Narrow Roods' epitomise the atmosphere and character of Kirriemuir. The variety of scale of the buildings and the quirkiness of their facades posed a challenge both technically and expressively.
This piece is sold without a frame.
