Winter Hare and Winter Deer, celebrates mid winter and can be framed as an art work to look at throughout the year. The stag represents mid winter in Druidry which traditionally celebrates the rebirth of the sun welcoming the new light. The Winter Hare really is associated with February, which we call Imbolc, and is the time when we notice the 'light/sun' slowly returning. It's really all about the mid winter, when the earth looks bare, life is stirring beneath our feet getting ready for Imbolc/Early Spring.
