This is a contemporary style, asymmetric basket handwoven using a number of different willow varieties, including Black Maul, Old French, Brittany Green, Dicky Meadows and Flanders Red. The main weave used on the sides of the basket is a French Rand, with a German Wale and asymmetric border adding more texture. The handle is also willow.
