Plate, 8 inches diameter. Green transfer. Unknown maker. The decorative motif here is known most commonly as Sea Leaf, although it is also known as Moss, Forest, and Fibre. A number of potters made such patterns. A Sea Leaf pattern was produced by Samuel Alcock & Co., Dillwyn & Co., and John Wedg Wood.
