Plate, 9 inches diameter. Unknown maker. The painted "7938/7" is the pattern number and the impressed "10/71" is the production date for October 1871. This pattern features a central medallion with a stylized flower and trefoils in between the petals. The wide border consists of three bands. The inner band consists of repeated stylized leaves wrapped around a plain line. The central band consists of anthemions sandwiched by trefoils. The outer band consists of alternating triangles in two different colors.
