Plate, 10.5 inches diameter. Brown transfer with gilding. Printed maker's mark for Rathbone, Smith & Co. This asymmetrical Aesthetic pattern features blackberry branches with both fruit and flowers. A large blackberry spray curves around the left side of the plate and a small spray helps balance the pattern to the right. A small sprig of grass anchors the pattern on the bottom right. The border consists of a simple gilded line.
