"Semi Porcelain" is a term used in the late-19th century by many potteries to depict a higher quality of earthenware that was developed, more closely resembling porcelain although it is not translucent. The pattern is a border only pattern with apparently anemone flowers, buds, and leaves gracefully arranged in an asymmetrical pattern.
