Interior West Light - Winter Morning
The resilience of plants and in particular plants out of their natural context is a consistent thread of inner narrative inspiration. Plants show their ability to take root, survive and thrive in the midst of change. It almost feels like magic, the force of life. This particular cutting has no flower yet is brightly colored in it's new growth. Even the dead leaves take on color when the light filters through. It arranged itself in a loop with the emerging submerged roots layered behind the new leaves.
