This framed 20" x 26" mixed media painting on canvas created in 2011 by artist Marcia Emery depicts a fantastical painting of animals and figures in a landscape. The artist's mystical imagery is in a palette of black. red, and gray. The central figure lays upward on an altar and is surrounded by religious figures and exotic animals. The painting is in a new contemporary black and gold floating frame.

Marcia Ermey is a disabled veteran from Jamaica who settled in America as a teenager. Her love for art has blossomed into her passion and what she wishes to share with the viewers. She paints for fun, therapy and the sheer enjoyment of others. She uses art to tell a story allowing her work to be remain open to the individual's interpretation. Ermey is currently based in Oklahoma City.
