'Church, Dilia New Mexico,' Acrylic on Panel by John Wolfe, 2018.
In this New Mexico landscape, a stark, primitive church with steeple is seen from its side with two arched windows, handicap ramp and propane gas tank. The white stuccoed church is set against a bright blue cloudless sky with pink/orange reflections of the sun and the orange dirt on the ground. The sun's reflection and shadows are prominent against the surface of the church.
